The Hospital is neither a swanky hotel nor a grand residence. It provides a special, historical atmosphere of intimacy and informality in which to celebrate the union of two people.

Civil Ceremonies are normally held in the 600-year-old timber-framed Guildhall. This wonderful room can seat up to 60 and its antique feel and simple, charming atmosphere make it an unforgettable venue for that special event.
Under certain circumstances the ceremony may be held in the ancient Great Hall which can accommodate up to 100 under its splendid beamed roof.
After the ceremony there are unrivalled opportunities for photographs in the Galleried Courtyard and the Master’s Garden.
The reception or wedding breakfast is held in the mediaeval Great Hall where up to 90 guests can celebrate the occasion.
Food and wine of outstanding quality and value are provided by our recommended suppliers.
